7 Entrepreneurial Strategies You Should Learn From Donald Trump’s Victory!

“Watch, listen, learn. You cannot know it all yourself. Anyone who thinks they do is destined for mediocrity.” ~ Donald Trump.

Anyone who followed most of the president elect’s debates and campaigns would have watched him stand out both in good and bad forms.

Say whatever you want about Donald Trump; and I will stand to say that whether his rule will be good for America or whether it would be the opposite, we are yet to find out. But all I know is He won the election beating almost everybody to astonishment and you should not just let go of it! As an entrepreneur, there are some strategies he used in the political set which would as well give you satisfactory success in your entrepreneurial journey.

Here are 7 entrepreneurial tactics to learn from The president elect’s victory:

1. If not winning; it’s nothing else!

Some entrepreneurs just do what they do just to gain a skill or get noticed and to be on the list of the world numerous entrepreneurs. But that wasn’t the case of Donald Trump in the political set.

“I will totally accept the result of this great and historical election ‘if I win!” ~ Donald Trump. Apart from being a strong candidate for the election; which is indeed enough to double his fame, Trump was highly set on winning and nothing else.

Also as an entrepreneur, you should be driven to win. Having a winner’s mindset is the most important strategy to becoming a successful entrepreneur. You must not be ready to settle for the less. As long as you are still in the race, you must win!

2. Be known for who you are, don’t try to win everyone to your side; you’ll never succeed at that!

Donald Trump isn’t appealing to everyone; as a matter of fact many people weren’t on his side and he was aware. Yet he never aimed at winning everyone over. He only focused on knowing those who want him, and gave them valid convictions.

As an entrepreneur, you should never try to win everyone to your side; you’ll never succeed at that. Instead you should focus on the customers that your brand appeals to and be set to give them the best. They would even be the ones to share the testimony and help you bring in new coverts.

3. Be bold to speak. Confidence is an essential tool to achieve success.

“I will build a great wall – nobody builds walls better than me, believe me. And I will build them inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.” ~ Donald Trump. I can’t imagine someone contesting for a political position saying this: anyways he said it!

One great strategy which helped Trump’s victory is his confidence. As an entrepreneur, you must master the act of self confidence. It sets your brand on high and makes your customers pleased to have you.

4. Dominate the media.

“If you are a little different, or a little outrageous, or if you do things that are bold or controversial, the press is going to write about you” ~ Donald Trump.

Another effective strategy which contributed to Trump’s success is his ability to dominate the media. He certainly got the most attention via the media, though it wasn’t all positive. He was present and active during interviews, he never underestimated the power of a media channel; the social media, radio, podcast and so on. “My twitter has become so powerful that I can actually make my enemies tell the truth.” ~ Donald Trump.

Create awareness about you and your brand, let the media be flooded with content written by you and/or content about your brand. Be featured in newspapers, magazines, seminars and podcast. Let your brand name stick and ring bell in the ears of the people. Also don’t underestimate the power of the social media. The social media is the fastest platform which your customers would use to give you feedback as well as ask questions about your product, and your response to their questions/comments determines their response to your product.

5. Be unusual.

Donald trump was smart to realize early that his fellow contestants were doing things that was somewhat related and his success cannot be guaranteed if he followed suit, so he went another way. Though he might had being outrageous; just like people say but he stood out and it earned him great recognition.

The ultimate aim of every entrepreneur is to be successful with their plans but you cannot achieve your desired success if you are still moving with the crowd. As an entrepreneur, you should make sure you are standing outa the clique. You just have to work towards achieving a balance; not excessive.

“Show me someone without an ego, and I will show you a loser — having a healthy ego, or high opinion of yourself, is a real positive in life.” ~ Donald Trump.

The president elect is known to own a fearless reputation. He presented himself to be a threat to his fellows by swinging supporters away from them and returning them to little. He made early bold claims about himself, and he uses every challenge/opportunities to learn new things.

To become a successful entrepreneurial, having positive and fearless reputation is a must!

7. Be interesting.

“If you are interested in balancing work and pleasure, stop trying to balance them. Instead make your work more pleasurable.” ~ Donald Trump.

Another thing that helped Trump’s success is “his interesting personality.” Trump made every unit of his campaign spellbinding so it gave him an edge over his competitors.

As an entrepreneur, you need to work towards achieving a balance. Make your customers pleased and comfortable with you then they will not want to depart from you. Make them feel bore/strange then they will definitely find a better place.

“In the end, you are measured not by how much you undertake, but by what you finally accomplish.” ~ Donald Trump.

Because you aren’t pleased with the victory of Donald Trump doesn’t mean you should neglect the lessons to be learnt from his acts. Read these over and over again. Try to implement these strategies to get better results in your field.

  2. “Whether Donald’s rule will be good for America or will be the opposite we are yet to find out” _ Moayanda.
What more time do we need to find out? Is it when our women are being silenced or when the real war comes and we are pushed to face it? Anyways, this article is really insightful for (we) entrepreneurs; he was indeed brave with winning the election. But I hate it when people paint Trump as “SAINT”

    • Hello Amir, I understand your plight.. believe me I do. However, I totally believe the article wasn’t aimed at “painting Trump a Saint” but rather on helping entrepreneurs gain strategic skills to boost their conduct at any public gathering or anything of such. Great tips Moayanda.
